Puerto Rico Casino Cards

Description: A long time ago I had a project in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  It seemed like there were casinos everywhere.  One of the hotels I stayed in had one in its lobby.  I went up to the customer service counter and asked if they sell used cards.  A lot of casinos do.  The gentleman behind the counter asked me to hang on, and then came back with a large box.  There were 12 decks of cards in it, all red.  I asked him how much, and he said they were free.  So, I pushed my luck, and asked if he had a blue box.  He did.  Turns out the decks weren't sorted out. They basically took the cards from the tables, split them up into deck sized piles, and cut the corners off (common practice for casinos), and stuff them away.

Because I have so many of these cards, they are the only cards in my collection I've ever played with, or allowed to be played with.  Well, that's not true.  I started my collection by buying a deck of cards I needed to play with, and used them.  After that, I was actually collecting, and never played with the cards again.

Number of decks: 24, which may or may not be complete

Open?: Yes
