Hakata Dolls |
Description: Hakata Dolls are a traditional clay doll from Japan. This deck features a collection of what can only be described as beautiful works of art.
Each card features a different doll, although the jokers are repeats of the 7 of Clubs and 3 of Spades. The name of the doll is in the lower left hand corner of the card. I've run each card through Google Translate, with mixed results.
For example, some cards translated to include the word "Tsuru's". Other's translated to "Crane's" Turns out, tsuru is Japanese for crane. The translations you see are what I got. Well, keep in mind that I had to write down each translation, then type in each translation. I sometimes reverse letters or put the wrong one down (I'm dyslexic), and sometimes my handwriting isn't great (it always isn't great). So, the translations are as close to what I got as I can make them for you.
