Description: Each card in this deck features an illustration of a famous King and/or Queen of England. The earliest one I saw was from 899, and it goes right up to Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II, the current (and longest reigning) Queen of England.
It's interesting to see the different fashions through the ages, and the different roles the Royals clearly played. The earlier Kings are all in armor, ready for a fight, while some of the later Kings appear to be in pretty far away from being ready for a fight.
