1994 Stanley Cup Championship

Description: I grew up a fan of the New York Rangers. I would watch them with my father, and we'd even go to some games together.  But they never won the cup. It was probably in the 80's I started paying attention, and they hadn't won since 1940. It was painful, year after year.  But something special happened in 1994. The Rangers finally won the cup.  I think at the time that 54 years was the longest drought in professional sports in North America.

While these cards don't celebrate the Rangers' victory, they do celebrate the championship series.  And I know who won, so, even if it's not on the deck in any way, it's still special to me.
